Overview
AVOXI creates software solutions that give teams more control and flexibility over their communication needs. Their mission is to become the world’s largest supplier of phone numbers and help teams around the world communicate more efficiently. One of the major projects during my time there was to redesign their shopping cart checkout experience, where a customer can purchase a virtual number for their company/clients. My work is still live on their website and led to a 600% increase in sales conversion rate.
AVOXI is a leading Communications as a Service (CaaS) provider with over 20 years of experience serving global clients across 160+ countries and 6 continents. Since 2001, they've delivered VoIP services to international businesses, processing over 100 million communication transactions annually. Their portfolio spans virtual phone numbers, contact center solutions, SIP trunking, hosted IVR, and cloud telephony services.
I designed a four-step checkout experience — Choose Your Plan, Select Add-On Features, Add to Cart, and Complete Purchase — working closely with COO Barbara Dondiego, CEO David Wise, and a skilled engineering team. The design went through multiple iterations, informed by monitoring user activity and time-on-page data, which allowed us to continuously refine the experience until arriving at the final product.
